I want to wish all readers a Happy New Year!
I wanted to let you all know that we had an important change in 2015. Stephan Lagerholm, who founded TXv6TF with me, has moved on to new opportunities. Replacing him is Jeff Carrell who was elected to the board and serves in 2016 as Vice Chairman.
We hope to have more to share with what we are planning for 2016.

PARKING DIRECTIONS:
From Waterview Parkway, turn east onto Loop Road. Continue straight into Parking Lot U. Locate orange event tent for shuttle to event location between 8 – 9:30am and 4 – 6:00pm daily.
A parking permit is required to park. Please print this parking permit and place it in the front window of your car following the directions on the permit. A custom parking map is also provided for reference.
Parking Location is: Lot U on the UT Dallas Campus. While it is not a strenuous or long walk, a free shuttle service will run from Lot U to the front of the Clark Center on each day of the Conference: Thursday 27th and Friday 28th March, 2014.
Shuttles to/from Lot U/Clark Center will run from 8am to 9.30am and from 4pm to 6pm.
* UT DALLAS FACULTY/STAFF/STUDENTS:
Please park in your regular parking spots so our guests can have preferred access to the shuttles.

TXv6TF has posted the final agenda for the 2014 Global IPv6 Meeting at the University of Texas at Dallas later this week. We are looking forward to seeing all registrants at the meeting.
An update to the agenda has been published that includes details on the business track which is Friday morning. Please register if you intend to come. There is plenty of space, but we need a good count to be sure we can have enough food on hand.
We have secured a block of rooms at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson, TX.

The event will be March 27 and 28, 2014 in Richardson, Texas on the campus of the University of Texas at Dallas.  Feature keynote speakers are Vinton G. Cerf and Latif Ladid. Other confirmed speakers include Tim Martin, Owen DeLong, Jeff Carrell, Stephen Lagerholm,Ravi Prakash and Jeff Doyle. More are being added as they are confirmed. TXv6TF is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2013 Summer Summit at Rice University in Houston Texas. The event is scheduled to be July 17 and 18. More information is available here.
The Texas IPv6 Task Force has launched a project to report on adoption of IPv6 and DNSSEC by the County Governments of Texas. See http://maps.txv6tf.org for the report and contact your commissioner’s court if you see that your county is not supporting the via technologies!
The North American IPv6 Summit is happening April 10-11,2012 in Denver, Colorado. Stephan Lagerholm, TXv6TF board member, will be speaking at the conference on Wednesday at 11:15am as part of the Enterprise and IPAM track, one of three tracks scheduled. Registration is open.

Stan Barber, chair of TXv6TF, is speaking and will be part of a panel at the upcoming IEEE Globecomm meeting in Houston this week. This is the 2nd year that Stan has spoken at the IEEE Globecomm event and the 10th year that IEEE has engaged the IPv6 Forum to assemble a group of IPv6 experts for an afternoon on IPv6. This will happen Wednesday, December 7. For more information, check the IEEE Globecomm website. A copy of the slides from this talk are available.
Welcome residence of the beautiful Pacific Nortwest, which by our definition, includes Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. This is the website of the Northwest IPv6 Task Force, a group dedicated to the advancement and promotion of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6 or just v6).
The Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force has announced the dates for a joint event being called the 2012 North American IPv6 Summit. The dates of the event are April 9 – 11, 2012 and will be in Denver. Check out this link for more information.
