IPv6 awareness in North America has drastically increased over the past two years. With growing interest not only from federal government, but also from industry, local and state governments, and the financial world, the North American IPv6 Task Force has facilitated the formation of new IPv6 advocacy bodies and groups to meet the increasing need for IPv6 technical acumen and advancement. In 2004, the NAv6TF facilitated the formation of the California IPv6 Task Force and the more recent IPv6 Business Council. Information for those two organizations can be found in this section.
